This course is an entry-level course, which is a pre-requisite to other Business Education courses. Business Technology will allow a student to develop and improve computer technology skills necessary to be successful in school, in his/her personal life, and in the world business economy. Units of instruction include word processing, database, spreadsheets, presentation media, the Internet, basic design principles, desktop publishing, graphics, audio/video editing, and electronic portfolios. At the end of each unit, the students will create a project using a variety of software. The students will also learn how to use a digital camera, scanner and a camcorder.
